Orthodontic treatment of hyperdivergent skeletal Class Ⅱ malocclusion

Abstract

Abstract: Hyperdivergent skeletal Class Ⅱ malocclusion has always been a challenge in orthodontics for both sagittal and vertical discrepancies. In recent years, many therapies had been proposed with varied mechanism and results. This article reviewed the clinical manifestation and pathological mechanism of hyperdivergent skeletal Class Ⅱ malocclusion, as well as the effectiveness and key points of treatment for different therapies.
