A case report of imperforate submandibular duct

Abstract: Congenital imperforate submandibular duct is one of developmental abnormalities of the salivary duct. Swelling in the mouth floor along the submandibular gland duct is the major clinical manifestations. MRI is of important value for the diagnosis of this lesion. We reported one case and reviewed the literatures regarding to its etiology, symptom, diagnosis, and therapy.
